CSA 2014 - Week #24
NOTES ON THE SHARE
What a fantastic box we have for you (again) this week! Please note that since Thursday and Friday sites will end their season next week, they will be receiving a slightly different share than the rest of you who still have three more deliveries to go. This applies mainly to the carrots. We're trying to give everyone 2 weeks worth of our glorious fall carrots, so if you don't get them this week, you can expect them in the last two shares - unless something unexpected happens!
FRENCH MUSQUEE DE PROVENCE PUMPKINS AVAILABLE FOR SPECIAL ORDER!
These beautiful French pumpkins were grown by Farmer John in his special market garden on the farm this year. They are probably the most exceptionally beautiful and exquisitely delicious pumpkins you will ever see...and they are extremely rare! They range in size from 10 to 30 lbs and we have specially priced them for our CSA at $10 each. They must be pre-ordered and picked up either at the farm in Jamesport or at our farmers' markets in Islip or Huntington. Please e-mail Kim at info@goldenearthworm.com to reserve yours today! There is limited supply! Put this on display and then bake it up for your Thanksgiving feast in a few weeks. Oooh la la!!!!
