WHAT SETS US APART

Why Where Your Food Is Grown Matters

Our farm sits in a private, fertile valley in Vermont, tucked between the Connecticut River and a remote mountain range, far from cities, highways, industry, and development. This landscape gives us something increasingly rare: pristine soil, clean water, and clear air.

Healthy food begins long before harvest. It starts with the land itself. Plants reflect the environment they’re grown in, and we wanted the cleanest, safest place possible to grow food for our family and our community.

This is the place you want your food to come from.

If you’ve been looking for food grown in a place like this, by farmers with the experience you can trust — you’re in the right place.

  • Our farm is tucked into a private valley between the Connecticut River and a remote mountain range. We chose this land intentionally — far from development, with clean water, healthy soil, and fresh mountain air. It’s where we feel good growing food for our own family, and for yours.

  • We’ve been farming organically for over three decades since our very first season. That experience matters.

Our approach is rooted in regenerative principles: building living soil, protecting biodiversity, and growing crops in ways that improve the land year after year. We farm for long-term health—not short-term yield.

Our farm is USDA Certified Organic by a third-party certifying agency, VOF, Vermont Organic Farmers.

We are also Certified Real Organic, which means that our crops are grown in healthy, living soil, using practices that build fertility, biodiversity, and resilience over time.

  • Most farms are not required to maintain a formal food safety plan or participate in third-party food safety certification. Many operate without documented protocols, routine verification, or external oversight.

We believe it’s essential to have third-party certified food safety protocols in place.

We hold a CAPS+LGS Food Safety Certification, a rigorous, third-party food safety program designed specifically for produce farms. CAPS+ goes beyond basic requirements, focusing on risk assessment, prevention, and continual improvement throughout the growing and handling process.

This means we follow detailed protocols for:

    • Harvest and post-harvest handling

    • Wash water quality and sanitation

    • Packing and storage practices

    • Worker hygiene and training

    • Traceability and record-keeping

This level of compliance sets our farm apart. For our members, this means confidence built on standards, documentation, and oversight—not marketing claims.

When it comes to food, the highest standards matter.

  • We are so sure that you will be delighted with your farm shares, that we provide a full 100% money-back guarantee for unclaimed weeks of the season. Cancel at any time, for any reason.

If your goal is to eat the recommended amount of vegetables each week, a weekly share is a great fit for one to three people who cook regularly. (Most couples and small families.)

A bi-weekly share works well for lighter vegetable eaters, smaller households, or anyone cooking a few nights a week. And don’t worry — we’ll help you make the most of your box with simple, seasonal recipes and cooking tips every week.

  • We make it easy to make the most out of your weekly boxes with a newsletter filled with delicious recipes and cooking tips. Our members love expanding their vegetable palate and getting creative in the kitchen!
