June Schedule - 2018 CSA Members

CSA OPEN fARM DAYS - JUNE 2018

Kick off the CSA season with a trip to the farm to tour the fields with your farmer, take a cooking class, pick-your-own strawberries and picnic in the grass!

Please note our daily schedule.  Most (but not all) Saturdays include a Farm Tour at 11am and a Cooking Class at 12:15pm.  This works well if you plan your picnic lunch after these activities. You can U-Pick strawberries any time between 9am and 5pm.

You are welcome to bring a picnic and enjoy relaxing on our lawn.  Lawn chairs, blankets, etc. are all encouraged.  Drinks are available for sale in our farm shop, but no prepared food.  Please no smoking and no pets.

GUIDELINES
No groups over 6 unless everyone is part of the same immediate family.  Please do not bring containers or bags to pick into.  We will give you new quart containers for picking.  NO SMOKING and NO PETS are allowed on the farm property per food safety regulations. And finally, please keep a close eye on your kiddos and teach them to step over (not on) the plants.  We love sharing our farm with you and we hope you will treat it as if it were your own. ♥

FARM TOURS

SATURDAYS: June 9, 16, and 23 at 11:00am.

Farm tours are free for all CSA Members and their guests.  We will leave from the front barn promptly at 11am, so please do not be late!  The tour will last approximately 1 hour, and will require walking for the good part of that time around the fields.  Strollers are welcome, as the terrain is mainly flat.  Please wear sturdy shoes, a sun hat and bring sun protection and some drinking water if it's hot.  All tours are child friendly and if you're lucky, the Little Farmer will join us to show you his favorite parts of the farm!
Stay after the tour for our CSA Cooking Class starting at 12:15pm in the barn.
